ACU shoulder pocket velcro?
So I just bought an ACU for the hell of it, and noticed that there are large pieces of velcro attatched to the outside of the shoulder pockets. I am wondering what is usually placed here. Thanks! You couldn't whent the Army still had BDUs, either. The only odd thing you'll be authorized to do uniformwise is where a USMC EGA tie bar/tie tack with class A's and B's. And of course, you can wear whatever awards you received in the USMC, but the Army doesn't wear dress uniforms all that often, so keep that in mind. How do you fix them from falling out? I've cut the nylon mount on one of my ACUs so I can pull the locking nut out further to get more of it in my pocket. Is there better way of fixing rat tails? I'm half tempted to cut them off, but that's against the AR. AR670-1 states that altering a uniform is not authorized. Is this one of those things that your not supposed to do, but overlooked? E.g.
